Theresa May speaks in parliament
- EU has made clear that this is the only deal
- If parliament votes deal down, timetable is such that practical steps have to be taken for a no-deal outcome
The usual stuff from May. With regards to the Brexit analysis by the government and BOE yesterday, take it with a pinch of salt. Those so-called expert opinions and analysis are very much skewed towards fear-mongering in my view and are biased in a way that supports May's current deal.
Either way, businesses and consumers are likely to favour May's deal just so it puts an end to all the uncertainty I would reckon. As to whether or not, those calls and pressures will change the minds of MPs when the vote comes remains to be seen.
