- mftg prod mm -0.3% vs -0.2% exp vs -0.6% prev rev down from -0.5%
- yy +0.9% vs +1.3% exp vs +1.5% prev rev down from +1.7%
Nothing disastrous but a soggy report nonetheless. Still an improvement on previous though and strongest quarter since 1999, albeit b4 Brexit vote
Cable fails at 1.3000 again and drops to 1.2978 as worse than expected trade data adds to selling pressure
ONS say:
- transport equipment biggest factor behind quarterly increase in ind prod
- very few respondents reported negative Brexit impact
