UK February services PMI better than expected

UK February services PMI came in at 43.2, better than the median forecast of 41.9, and the third straight monthly rise in the index. In the words of that fabulous band Ian Drury and the Blockheads “Reasons to be cheerful.” Well maybe a smidge, but when all said and done the state of the real economy in the UK remains pretty nasty.
