Malcolm Turnbull is addressing the media now after being ousted as Australia's prime minister and is replaced by ex-treasurer, Scott Morrisson
- Says that he faced a determined insurgency
- Says that Morrison is a loyal treasurer, wishes him the best in the PM role
- Says that he will resign from parliament not before too long
The aussie got a pop earlier in the day as ScoMo took over from Turnbull as prime minister. It's more of a relief rally considering the pressures faced by the aussie all week from domestic politics among other things. Eamonn was quick to warn of the pop here, so don't say that you weren't warned. ;)
