- support for EU membership amongst Turkish people has fallen because if EU's pro-coup attitude
- if West loses Turkey it will be of its own mistakes not because we have good ties with Russia, China or Islamic world
One part of me wants to breathe a sigh of relief on the reduced chances of Turkish/EU integration while the other half has increased concerns as to where this all ends up.
