This comes after John Bolton went to Moscow during the week to meet up with Putin himself. This will be after the NATO summit that is scheduled to take place in Brussels on 11 to 12 July.
The meeting here won't go down well with European leaders, as their ongoing efforts to single out and isolate Russia may be for naught if Trump makes some side promises with Putin instead.
