Trump press conference begins in Vietnam

- North Korea wanted sanctions lifted entirely, but we couldn't do that
- North Korea wasn't willing to give what we wanted to lift sanctions
- Kim has a certain vision but not the one that we want
- Says that the differences will be bridged over time
- Kim wants to denuclearise, but only in certain areas
Meanwhile, Pompeo is also speaking saying that they have asked Kim to do more but he was unprepared to do that for the time being. Pompeo also adds that he is optimistic of the progress made from talks here.
Looks like both sides were unwilling to budge from their initial stance last year, which led to the abrupt end to the summit in Hanoi. In short, it's pretty much back to as we were prior to the summit with North Korea still not showing heavy commitment to actually denuclearise.
