Trump tweets on today's indictment
The indictment today puts the focus on Russia rather than Trump, at least for now. It shows a highly-orchestrated campaign to undermine US public discourse and democracy. The people participating in it called it "information warfare" and that's a fair term.
"Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!" President Donald Trump tweeted minutes ago.
