Trump says that there is "many good conversations" with North Korea
Well, there are reports recently that North Korea hasn't really been keeping to its pledge (see here and here) on denuclearisation. And it's not all too surprising. We haven't yet seen the details of what the US is offering to North Korea in return, and Kim Jong Un doesn't look like he's one to take the bait so far.
So, while talks may be going well it is stuff behind-the-scenes that truly matters. And though the market has been quite relaxed about it, these are the kinds of things that only tends to hit the market when things get ugly. And when it does, it hits hard.
