Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we get into the European trading session today. It's been a decently quiet start to the session but we're already starting to see the euro move lower as Italy's budget worries continue to cast a dark cloud over the single currency.

The dollar meanwhile is mixed across the board as major currencies continue to trade in a bit of a range for the most part. Some market themes to consider:
- Poloz upbeat on NAFTA and that is helping to underpin the loonie
- Euro continues to be sluggish as Italian budget worries weigh
- USD/JPY remains underpinned despite yields holding steady
- Dollar index moves back above the 95.00 level (and above the 100-day MA)
- Hints of risk off in the equities space, yet to see anything substantial in other assets
