Theresa May is in Parliament to push through the vote to hold an election

Just an FYI

In case you're hearing about May speaking in Parliament, procedure dictates that when an election is called, it still has to be voted for in Parliament. There's no expectation for it failing but we'll see if there are many dissenters.

So far the main opposition (Labour) hasn't fought it in PMQ's, and their leader is more interested in calling out May for dodging tv debates and banging the same old drum about failing to reduce the deficit.

  • Says is confident she has a plan to win a successful deal in Brexit talks

  • The right and responsible thing is for Parliament to vote for an early election

May giving it some in the House
