It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from the former Treasury Secretary. After converting Citigroup into Goldman-lite and nearly imploding the free world, Rubin pretty much disappeared off the grid.
Well, he’s back!
He is quoted by Bloomberg as saying there is still a lot of risk from the European crisis.
He says Draghi is an excellent ECB leader while offering Bernanke praise, saying he has done a very good job.
Rubin says QE3 would accomplish very little, something I wholeheartedly agree with.
