PM May wins key vote
The so-called "meaningful vote" was won by the government by a vote of 324-298.
Member Dominic Grieve told Sky news"
"I just voted with the government following reassurances from the PM that we got this afternoon that are concerns will be addressed. We had a personal assurance that we would find a way of addressing the concerns which would be encapsulated in the amendment...to find a common way forward. I'm fairly confident that we will be old to do that".
The GBPUSD has moved down a touch on the vote, but with the "concessions' the market is taking the news in stride.
The pair stays between the 100 hour MA below at 1.3403 and a topside trend line now at 1.3421. The price had moved above the topside trend line but did back off.
