The reading measures analysts' expectations on the Swiss economy and other economic expectations over the next 6 months. That's the weakest reading in the survey since February 2015. Economic expectations for both the Eurozone and US also declined with the former falling from -25.9 in December to -40.0 in January, while the latter falls from -48.2 in December to -56.0 in January.
Assessment of the current economic situation also declined further as investors appear to be growing less confident about the global economy by the month.
