With the exception of the Canada S&P/TSX Composite index, the rest of the major global stock indices ended the week higher. The biggest gainer was the Shanghai composite index, which rose by 3.35%. The Italian FTSE MIB index rose by 3.01%.
In the US, the Nasdaq Composite index increased by 2.02% while the S&P and Dow Jones Industrial Average had gains of 1.04% and 0.94% respectively.
