EU proposes that EU citizens that stay in the UK after Brexit should still fall under the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice
The Telegraph has learnt that EU Brexit negotiators are putting forward a plan to keep EU people living in Britain under EU law after Brexit.
An EU diplomat said that the idea came after EU Brexit head, Michael Barnier, met the other 27 members.
I doubt such a plan would fly over on the UK side. It's another look the thoughts floating around on the EU side of the negotiating table. It's not clear if the same concession will be offered to Brits abroad in Europe. Either way, it would become a legal minefield.
