Dems don't like that idea at all
Starbuck's ex CEO Howard Schultz is "seriously thinking" of an independent run for the 2020 presidency. The chatter of him running has the Dems balking on fears it will take votes from the Democrat candidate and give Pres. Trump his best shot at winning the 2020 election.
Schultz made his thoughts known in a "60-Minutes" story.
He said:
"We're living at a most-fragile time," Schultz said in the CBS interview. "Not only the fact that this president is not qualified to be the president, but the fact that both parties are consistently not doing what's necessary on behalf of the American people and are engaged, every single day, in revenge politics."
In 2000 Independent candidate Ross Perot was blamed for hurting George H.W. Bush's reelection bid in 1992 to Bill Clinton.
