Speaking up Spain's recovery
Spain's economic minister Luis de Guindos, is on the news wires saying:
- Data from the second quarter points to additional acceleration in growth compared to the first quarter
- Budget this year will get approved
It is still early in the 2nd quarter but the minister is talking with confidence.
The EURUSD is unimpressed as it trades at the lows for the trading day at 1.1105. Better US data, and weakness in the EURGBP and EURJPY, is keeping the EURUSD under pressure in trading today.
