An upbeat Luis de Guindos says the economy has reached cruising speed
The comments come after Spain matched estimates for their final Q4 GDP numbers earlier today. Quarter on quarter GDP came in at 0.7% and 2.0% y/y
There was also a jump in Dec house mortgage approvals which rose 28.9% vs 14.2% prior y/y. Total mortgage lending rose 27.1% vs 16.8% prior y/y
