Yield at auction is a reprieve for the bond market

The US sold 10-year notes at 2.630%, 2.612% low than the 2.619% yield in the when-issued market ahead of the sale.

It’s the lowest yield at a sale since June 2013 but it will help benchmark 10s hold the 2014 low of 2.568% although the knee-jerk reaction hasn’t been particularly large with benchmark yields near the low of the day at 2.5788%.
