Meeting of EU member states to take place on Friday and Saturday
A senior EU official is on the wires saying:
- we are not there yet on agreement on next EU budget and recovery fund
- deal at EU Summit on Friday/Saturday is not guaranteed
- there are still important differences
- governance of EU recovery fund, climate target, rule of law is still under debate
