Met with Pelosi for 2 hours
Good news on budget cap deal.
Sen McConnell and Speaker Pelosi met for two hours. McConnell is saying
- Hopes to make a caps deal before the end of day
- Deal would likely include debt limit
- Meeting was very encouraging
- Expect vote on diaster aid this week
- Expects 2 year budget deal
That would save us from government shut down politics like what happened at the beginning of the year
