Russia says oil not on the main agenda when Putin meets up with Trump

Comments by the Russian government

Trump and Putin are due to meet in Helsinki on 16 July in a supposedly one-to-one meeting. But the Kremlin is out now saying that the situation on the global oil market is unlikely to be a main issue on the agenda when the two meet.

Trump had previously tweeted last weekend on oil prices, saying he had the agreement of Saudi Arabia that oil prices are too high. But it looks like Russia is not looking to go down that same road when it comes to matters with Trump.

I'm guessing they'd probably be more interested in WTO talks.
