Reports China is planning a higher fiscal deficit target in 2019

The report is that China is said to plan fiscal deficit target of 2.8% for 2019

• this would be higher than the 2.6% for 2018

The reports suggest the new target has not been finalised

• awaiting approval at the meeting of the National People's Congress in a couple of months time (March)
