Previous reports that US Fed Chairwoman Yellen is speaking today appear to be unfounded 29 Aug
Our economic calendar feed from Investing.com had Yellen speaking at 13.30 GMT today but I couldn't find anything to back it up.
Now they've removed the item from their calendar so I think we can put it down to a genuine error and/or confusion. If anyone else can find anything please shout out.
So no Yellen to blot the landscape. I mean, twice in 4 days? That would be almost outstripping the Japanese talking heads in the hot air/repetition stakes!
