RBNZ's own inflation measure out now: 1.5% y/y (previous was 1.5%)

Earlier today we got the New Zealand inflation data from the stats agency:

• NZ 1Q CPI QoQ 0.5% vs. 0.4% expected. YoY 1.1% vs. 1.1% expected.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand 'Sectoral factor model' of inflation has come out now, at 1.5%, unchanged from prior

• The sectoral core factor model of inflation is one of many series that the Reserve Bank uses to help interpret inflation developments.
• The Bank uses these as measures of 'core' inflation, the bank says the gauge here is one of their preferred measures.
