Tory MP Lee throws in the towel
Or at least he's fighting for the ideals he believes in rather than the party. Lee isn't convinced about the policies the government is pursuing now with regards to Brexit.
He came into focus back in January when he questioned whether Brexit was worth it when draft assessments were believed to show that the UK would be economically worse outside of the EU.
Let's see if this will turn some heads on the domestic front politically, though I highly doubt it will make any difference.
