- From last month's result of -5.9% m/m to 120.5
Not much of a move higher, but still. At 121 its just above its average level since the series began.
ANZ on the result:
- Middle of the road
- steady in May
- consumers neither exuberant nor alarmed
ANZ citing:
- strong jobs market
- low interest rate
- consistent with around 2% GDP growth
