Just a heads up for the data due at 2145 GMT from New Zealand
January's trade balance is expected to be close to zero - even Stevens. Likely to tilt to a very small deficit but there isn't much in it
- prior was 640m surplus
Exports
- expected 4.58bn, prior was 5.55bn
Imports
- expected 4.60bn, prior was 4.91bn
The data point could move the kiwi if there is a surprise, otherwise it may well passed more or less unremarked.
Eyes on the kiwi! (I don't think that is the NZ PM, but I could be wrong)
