US assistant sec of state Russel says:
- US is committed to working closely with Japan, China, Russia and S. Korea to put tough pressure on N.Korea
- US sees accelerated pattern of very serious provocation by N. Korea that violates intl law
UN security council have said they will meet Friday afternoon to discuss.
