North Korea is said to want a peace treaty with the US - report

A report by Dong-A Ilbo newspaper, citing an unidentified senior official at the South Korean presidential office

The report says that North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un wants to sign a peace treaty as well as establish diplomatic relations with the US. And that those relations involve having a US embassy in Pyongyang.

No other details are given apart from that. The Trump-Kim meeting is still in the works, but continued talks of purported peace and harmony will help to boost risk assets in the mean time.
