The consensus is for a tepid rise in payrolls, no doubt influence by Hurricane Sandy. Reuters’ average forecast is for 93K new jobs. Bloomberg’s an even more muted 86k.
The only thing I have to offer is that given the impact of Sandy, the number will probably be a mile away from consensus.
