Tokyo's main index closes higher on the day - 9 January 2018

Japanese markets were closed yesterday, and the Nikkei opened today with a gap up (playing catch up to global stocks) - but surrendered early gains as we closed off the day. All sectors still ended the day higher compared to Friday's close though.
