Tokyo's main index closes for a third straight day lower
US-China trade tensions continue to weigh on the mood in Asia, as equities are once again weaker in trading today. Chinese stocks are also seeing some notable declines on the day, with the Shanghai Composite down by 0.8% while the Hang Seng index is down by a good 1.7% at the moment.
Cautious tones (slightly risk-off) remain the name of the game as we begin European trading, with E-minis also down 0.6% while the Japanese yen is still holding firm with USD/JPY just under the 110.00 handle.
