Tokyo's main index closes near flat on the day but off the lows

Most Asian stocks are lower on the day but they're off the lows seen earlier this morning. The main drag has been the headline that Trump may announce more tariffs on China as soon as next week but much like all trade headlines in the past, markets have been quick to fade them.
