Tokyo's main index closes near the lows for the day

  • Session high 22,926.47
  • Session low 22,761.87

A more or less flat day for Japanese equities after earlier gains from tech stocks were pared. Similar tones is seen in Hong Kong's Hang Seng index while China's Shanghai Composite is currently down 0.4%.
