Tokyo's main index closes lower on the day as Asian shares stumble

The Nikkei closes at session lows as Asian equities are having a poor session following yesterday's similarly poor run in Wall Street following Fed chair Powell's comments.
The Hang Seng index is currently down by 1.29%, Shanghai Composite down by 0.45%, CSI 300 down by 0.19%, Kospi down by 0.96%. Australia's ASX 200 closed the day earlier lower by 0.67% at 6,016. It's pretty much a red sea across Asian equity markets today.
