Tokyo's main index closes higher on the day

Very minimal movement for the Nikkei today as Japanese stocks traded slightly better in light of a bit of an improvement to risk sentiment in markets. US equity futures are also flat on the day and that isn't really doing anything for the yen as Treasury yields are also flat on the session so far.
