Japanese stocks recovered strongly on the day after an ex-dividend price adjustment saw the Nikkei got cut by 155 points. Asian equities in general are performing admirably with Chinese stocks leading gains. The Shanghai Composite is up by 1.3% while the Hang Seng is up by 1.7% on the day.
