Tokyo's main index closes near the highs for the day

A decent day for Japanese stocks as any trade spat concerns arising from the G7 summit is being blown over as Asian investors appear to be more focused on other developments right now. The Trump-Kim summit of course being one of them, and so far it's looking bright.
