A decent end to the week for Japanese stocks
Asian equities are faring slightly better to close out the week, following the recovery in US stocks in overnight trading. But still, it has been a bit of a softer few days in general with the Nikkei closing lower by about 0.7% over the week.
Both the Hang Seng and Shanghai Composite indices are up by 0.1% with US futures keeping closer to flat levels still as we approach European morning trade.
In the currencies space, overall sentiment remains more tepid as we continue to see narrow ranges prevail for the most part. USD/JPY is flat at 107.25, trading in a 24 pips range.
