Tokyo's main index closes near the highs for the day
A decent ending for Japanese stocks as earlier they were weighed lower by global growth uncertainties - alongside the rest of Asia - but recovered in tandem as we head towards the close. The Nikkei is mostly flat but we're seeing better sentiment in E-minis as they are trading 0.4% higher near the highs for the day as well.
That positive spin in the last couple of hours is helping to lift USD/JPY back to session highs of 114.05 currently.
