Tokyo's main index closes marginally higher on the day

Despite the yen's weakness today, the overnight move saw the currency strengthen to 110.00 against the dollar and that weighed on exporters a little. Asian stocks have shown rather positive tones on the day though with the Hang Seng up by 0.5% currently while the Shanghai Composite is up by 1.2%.
