NZ data, ANZ Business Survey for February worsens.
It had been showing improving signs. But today shows:
- business confidence measure shows a net 30.9% percent of respondents expected the economy to deteriorate over the year ahead
- net 10.5 percent of respondents expect their own businesses to grow in the next 12 months
ANZ says the survey indicates momentum in the economy has slowed noticeably in the past 6 months
NZD down a few points on the result.

An item of interest in the report is the fall in the ease of getting credit
- Net 38% of firms across economy says its more difficult
- This despite easing restrictions (on LVRs) … access to credit is an important issue for business.
