Depression forms off the coast of central America
A tropical depression is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm later today and a hurricane on the weekend, according to the latest forecast.
The system is set to track nearly due North and after hitting Nicaragua will head towards Louisiana.
It's not expected to develop into a major storm but could cause some issues and shutdowns for offshore oil rigs.
