More on the Renesas chip maker fire - production could be halted for up to 3 months

I posted earlier the halt would be 1 month:

But, says Nikkei report:

• considering the many processes in semiconductor fabrication, it may take over three months for supply chains return to normal.

The firm is the world's No. 2 producer of auto chips, it supplies Toyota and Nissan (amongst others).
