Japan PM Shinzo Abe speaking in Tokyo (still)
- Fiscal consolidation also important in budget
- Expected tax revenue of JPY 59.1 trillion in budget
- Debt issuance down for a 6th straight year
Following his earlier comments here. Nothing impactful to the currency, just something to keep in mind on Abe's views. I'd be more interested in his opinions on how Kuroda is performing as BOJ governor - since Kuroda's term runs out in April next year and there's still no news about whether or not he will continue as governor for a second term (5 years).
