EU Brexit head Barnier still up to the mic 9 Feb
- not negotiable as they go to the heart of single market rules
- no transition period will be possible if no withdrawal agreement
- transition period need to allow businesses to prepare
- there is no wish to punish UK
- sooner UK makes choices the better
- my attitude is not vindictive

GBP pairs still on the back foot but some money understandably coming off the table after yesterday's rally.
