Mitt Romney will “almost certainly run” for President in 2016, Ryan out

Reports continue to circulate about Mitt Romney taking steps toward running for President in 2016 with the latest that he spent the weekend and today calling former aides, donors and other supporters.

He told one senior Republican he “almost certainly will” run in what would be his third campaign for the White House, this person said according to the Washington Post.

On Friday, Romney was in New York and left them with the impression that he will run.

In talks, a key theme he’s repeating is that he will run to the right of Jeb Bush.

Meanwhile, NBC News is reporting that his running mate in 2012, Paul Ryan says he will not be running for President in 2016.
