Cohen was supposed to testify in two weeks
Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen agreed to testify in the House on February 7 but that will be postponed according to a cryptic tweet from New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.
"Threats to his family?"
That doesn't sound good.
I'll post the story when it's published at the New York Times but she's followed up with this:
"Dems had issued a rare warning to Trump about tampering with a witness as the president encouraged the media and prosecutors to investigate Cohen's family."
Update: Here's a statement from Cohen's lawyer.
If I understand this correctly, Trump and others have talked about investigating Cohen's father-in-law.
"He should give information maybe on his father-in-law, because that's the one that people want to look at," he said.
Cohen is due to report to prison on March 6 so he's working on a tight timeline.
